I just discovered this clip on youtube…and WOW. I am not going to even pretend like I know who this guys is, but he seems to be one of the original savory ballroom dancers, et Il Dechire.
Check out this clip and you can see some sweet slip slop footwork in action! Unbelievable!

Here is a little clip of Jojo Jackson and I doing the Trankey Doo at Sving Du Nord in Minneapolis. Jojo and I just finished a small teaching tour in the US where we thoroughly enjoyed visiting San Francisco, Denver, Portland and Minneapolis. Check out the Video!

Here are some more videos from Showdown 2007. These are the preliminary round videos of Alice Mei, Emily Hoffberg and myself dancing in both the slow and medium tempo divisions. These were two really fun dances and damn can these two girls follow.

ULHS was quite a show this year. Everyone and their mother seemed to shown up to showdown!
As for myself, I boldly entered the Jack & Jill, Medium, Slow, Showcase and Team division making for a jam packed weekend. I also made it to finals in every division, did a fun little showcase performance with Alice and busted out our new team routine with the Ninjammerz! Go Ninjaz!
Other then the sauna like venue and sticky floor, I throughly enjoyed the competitions. I personally, was extremely happy to get to dance in the finals with the top dogs and feel that my dancing has really progressed over the last year. I had great dances in the prelims and wasn’t able to match that performance in the finals, but such is life :) It is good to be reassured that there is still a lot of postive learning and experience to come.
Our team members took titles in every category and represented strongly this year. We are all really excited for the things to come but more on that later later…

The long awaited update of my website is finally on its way. After initially designing this site I embarked on a long Journey away from my previous home Japan. Since then a lot of exciting things have happened so check back soon for new videos, pictures, my tour schedule and various information regarding my dance travels and activities.
